Despite modern technology, the human body is the only body that we have. Many people delay in getting their body the best that it can be. I think the mentality is “it’s ok my body will be here tomorrow”. However, it is important to take care of our body. Most important thing is that it is never too late to take care of our body. Kind of like the person who goes all winter doing anything eating anything then come summer swim suit time gets scared and shocked. Well, it’s not too late because it is never to late to get on the right track the right path to better eating. It is important to take care of our body and make the most of the one body that we have. When we make the most of our body, when we take care of our body, we are making our body our tool. Just in case you are thinking “hum interesting how do I make the most of my body”? I have always given the analogy of our body like a car. My dad was an auto mechanic. Therefore once again I will use a car analogy to help explain my point. We would take care of our vehicle, we wash our vehicle so why not wash our body with cleanse and fast if health permits.
Fasting usually consist of drinking water for 24 hours or 48 hours to cleans the body. Just like cleaning and washing a car we clean and wash out body. Our body our tool. Just in case you are thinking ok so, how do I get my body to be my tool ? Keep in mind that some people require doctor approval for any type of fasting or fruit juice smoothie cleanse. Reason being is that your medications might not work if you do certain things or might be accelerated if you do certain things. Therefore just to be on the safe side ask your doctor. For me, years ago I started fasting on bananas and water. I started for one day then decided to do that for 2 days. The reason I decided on bananas and water was because bananas have a lot of potassium and at the time I was getting a lot of painful leg cramps in the middle of the night. Remember that after the whatever fast or juice cleanse your first meal after that is important. Why juice cleanse if going to run to the fried foods the day after. You get my point and my thinking of just cleaned the house and bam throwing oil all over the living room. Smoothies are a great. You can make all types of smoothies. How do I know what ingredients to make a smoothie out of ? Well, what I do is use www.google.com to find out information about fruits and vegetables. For example I might want to find out the benefits of Spinach, or apple benefits and so on. I google checked for bananas and found that bananas are high in potassium. Spinach is high in Vitamin A. Pineapple is high in Vitamin C. Watermelon replaces electrolytes. Cactus also called nopales are great as an inflammatory and reduce high blood pressure. Sugar cane is “high in calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, and manganese. Diseases like cancer cannot survive in an alkaline environment and effective in fighting cancer, especially prostate and breast cancer. Then if I am unfamiliar with the vitamin benefits I will google benefits of vitamin A, vitamin C and so on. ALSO you can add things into your smoothies or fruit drinks. I once again did research and googled the benefits of extras to add in fruit juices and smoothies. Feel free to take this information to apply to your life and your smoothies or fruit juices.

I will combine Carrots and Oranges then add a splash of lemon. Their are days when I will just do a smoothie of apples. I use water for the liquid or sometimes use Coconut Water, sometimes use Rice Milk or Almond Milk. I will sometimes add ice cubes especially if going out on a hot day. Some people like my next door neighbor will freeze his fruits and veggies the day before so they are cold. I have to confess that I have used some grocery store frozen fruits when I want a Mango smoothie in November. Also many places sell fruit drinks and smoothies. Therefore up to you and you can definitely make your own fruit juice and fruit smoothie or just buy one somewhere. Enjoy!
